Our village Hohenleipisch
Surrounded by cherry plantations and meadows our village is visible from a distance as it is situated on a hill. The typical skyline is given by the church tower. 2300 people live in Hohenleipisch.
There is a train station at the end of our street, the direct connection to Dresden and Berlin. Four restaurants, a café, two doctors, a dentist, a pharmacy, two butchers, two grocery stores, a textil store, a bakery shop, a hardware store, two flower shops and a bank offer all you need for daily life in a near distance.
Our son Christopher took many photos and prepared a project for school, where he introduces interesting facts and figures about Hohenleipisch. The document can be downloaded, but it is just available in German.
