How to get there

 

 

Hohenleipisch is situated in the national park Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft in the south of the federal county Brandenburg in the eastern part of Germany. 

 

By car:

Take the highway A13 (Berlin-Dresden), exit Ruhland, take the B169 direction Elsterwerda. Shortly after passing the city limits sign of Elsterwerda turn to the right to Hohenleipisch, direction Finsterwalde. Go ahead, cross two railroads and you reach the village Hohenleipisch. Stay on the main road until you come to a pedestrian crossing (zebra crossing). Turn to the right (Bahnhofstraße), then you come to house nr. 9 on the left hand side (terracotta colour).

Distances: Dresden 60 km, Meissen 45 km, Leipzig 100 km, Berlin 160 km

By train:

Hohenleipisch has a station down our street, where trains stop regularly. There is a direct connection to Berlin and Dresden. If you use the so called "Brandenburgticket" or "Sachsenticket" 5 people travel cheaply.

 

 

By plane:

The closest airports are Berlin-Schönefeld (140 km), Berlin-Tegel (175 km), Dresden (57 km) and Halle-Leipzig (115 km).
